Navoryx Shield: bot protection
Why you reconnect once on your first visit and what the Shield does for your server.
Minecraft servers with Navoryx Shield run behind our own protection. Players connect through the server's name (for example survival.mc.navoryx.site), no longer through IP and port. Bot waves and connection floods hit the Shield and never reach your server.
- On your first visit the Shield briefly checks that a real player is joining. Please don't move during the check.
- Then you'll see
Verified, all good!. Just connect again. - From now on you get straight in for 30 days without another check.
The direct address with IP and port is blocked for protected servers. Always use the name from the Panel or the customer area.
Seeing You reconnected too quickly or Your IP address is being checked? Wait a few seconds and try again. If a message keeps showing up, write to us on Discord or by email and include the text of the message.
Bans, whitelist and plugins that work with player IPs behave as usual: the Shield passes the real IP on to your server.
In the Panel, click the Navoryx Shield tile on the right of the console. A panel slides in from the right: it shows whether protection is running, the joins and blocked attempts of the last 24 hours, and lets you turn the Shield on or off.
